The Bay of Plenty Young Fruit Grower competition (BOPYFG) is a full day event which features a series of theoretical and practical events designed to test contestant’s knowledge and skills in a competitive and fast-paced environment.

The competition is held in conjunction with the Te Puke A&P Show held at the Te Puke Showgrounds. The BOPYFG competition will be stationed within the ‘Horticulture Village’ at the A & P Show and there will be a spectator prize to be won for simply visiting the competition and entering a prize draw.
