Māori Kiwifruit Growers Inc are holding two Māori Grower Spring Field Days with one hosted in the Eastern Bay of Plenty (EBOP) and one in the Western Bay of Plenty (WBOP).

The first Field Day will be hosted at Te Kopuatawhiti Trust in Matata, Whakatane. The focus of these Field Days are to provide Māori growers with industry updates, tools, and resources to navigate the season ahead. The content will include:

• Soil replenishment and sustainable soil management – Cyclone & Weather Impacts
• Vine Health Strategies – Managing waterlogged soil
• MKGI – Collaborative Marketing Update
• Zespri – Director Update
• Kiwifruit Industry Career options – Presentation by EastPack
