Māori Kiwifruit Growers Inc are hosting an Orchard Manager Rōpu to support orchard managers across different rōhe. These will be quarterly held hui at different orchards across the country, with the first one beginning this November in Maketu

The purpose of the Orchard manager rōpu is to facilitate connections for orchard managers across different regions, share knowledge and expertise with orchard practices and growing, promote mātauranga Māori knowledge, and establish a support network. The main priorities for these events are for whakawhanaungatanga, networking, and supporting orchard managers.

These are aimed at Māori orchard managers and orchard managers that work with Māori whenua. There will also be an industry representative from NZKGI to provide an additional level of support.
