Following the recent Shed Talks, Zespri will be conducting further consultation with growers on the proposed Share Alignment initiatives, and would like to run a separate focus session with Māori growers to gather their feedback. Zespri has also heard from Shed Talk attendees that they would like some more discussion and education on Shares in general, so the team proposed to include this as the first part of the session before discussing the Share Alignment initiatives.

This is an opportunity for Māori growers to develop a deeper understanding of the shares system and ask the Zespri team questions in a safe environment. Once Zespri has gathered grower feedback on the proposed initiatives, this feedback will be considered and a proposal of the structure and time of the initiatives will be taken to the Zespri Board in December 2023 for approval.
