GOAL

To tailor communications with Māori growers and provide valuable insights and updates into the industry. This will be achieved by supporting Māori growers with data and research grounded in mātauranga and kaupapa Māori for improved decision making in business.

Source funding for kaupapa Māori research into the economic opportunity for kiwifruit with potential increased Māori market share.

Develop databases of crucial information for current Māori entities and those considering kiwifruit in the near future.

Develop business and lending models to establish and expand kiwifruit on Māori land.

Develop a Māori Kiwifruit Growers Inc Collective forum and process for a deal pipeline for new-to-market orchard purchase opportunities.

Facilitate annual roadshows for Māori Growers to engage with industry experts.

Develop a communications plan to distribute useful information to growers regularly.
